Job summary

Avanta Works in Musaffah, UAE is seeking an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. The role requires passion for food, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of all kitchen operations to deliver high-quality dishes.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience, be highly organized, and able to work calmly under pressure. Salary is 1000 AED per month plus accommodation allowance, with 8 hours per day, 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques
• Thorough understanding of health and safety standards in the kitchen
• Highly organized with strong leadership skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to restaurant standards
• Manage and coordinate the work of sous-chefs, cooks and other kitchen staff
• Monitor stock levels, order supplies when necessary and ensure food quality is maintained at all times
• Develop new recipes as well as modify existing ones
