Job summary
Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Consultant Burns Surgeon to join our specialist clinical team in Abu Dhabi. You will provide comprehensive surgical and medical management of acute and complex burn injuries, including assessment, resuscitation, operative treatment, wound care and rehabilitation.
The role requires medical degree with postgraduate training in General/Plastic Surgery, board certification, and a DoH Abu Dhabi license/eligibility.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Postgraduate training in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery or another relevant surgical specialty.
- Board Certification/Specialist or Consultant qualification in the relevant specialty.
- Fellowship or advanced training in Burns Surgery/Burn Care is highly desirable. DoH Abu Dhabi license/eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level assessment and management of acute/complex burns.
- Lead multidisciplinary management of major burn injuries.
- Perform burn surgery including wound excision, debridement and grafting.
- Coordinate rehabilitation and long-term management of burn survivors.
- Develop and implement burn management protocols and quality initiatives.
- Teach, train and supervise residents and junior staff.
