Job summary

Rebel Recruiters is seeking a Principal Avionics and Flight Control Systems Engineer in Dubai for a greenfield aerospace program. The role centers on owning the FCC architecture with triple-redundant voting, interfaces across flight control, propulsion, and mission C2, and DO-178C evidence generation.

You will drive architecture concept, state machines for all modes, and create priority ICDs with system owners. Founding engineering tier, office-based in Dubai, referencing ARP4754A/4754B.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ years avionics/FCS with DO-178C DAL A acceptance on a certified programme.
• Redundant fly-by-wire FCC architecture experience.
• State machine and modes design.
• ICD authoring and DO-178C planning artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Own the FCC architecture detail design with redundancy and voting strategy.
• Develop state machines for all modes and transitions (nominal and degraded).
• Create interface control documents between flight control, propulsion, avionics and mission C2.
• Produce DO-178C evidence that closes the software objectives.
• Roadmap architecture sign-off by month 12 with artefacts and ICDs.
