Job summary

Confidential in Dubai seeks a Head of Engineering – Aerospace to lead the aerospace engineering function across concept to certification, industrialization, and support. This on-site role requires strategic and technical leadership across products and UAV programs.

You will oversee structures, composites, propulsion, avionics, and systems integration, drive governance, risk management, and continuous improvement, and ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Aerospace Engineering Department and provide technical direction across all engineering disciplines.
• Develop and implement the engineering strategy in alignment with the company's aerospace business objectives and product roadmap.
• Establish engineering priorities, departmental objectives, KPIs, resource plans, and technical development plans.
• Build, structure, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams capable of supporting complex aerospace programs.
• Establish clear engineering governance, design authority, technical approval levels, and decision-making processes.
• Act as the company's senior technical authority for aerospace engineering matters.
• Advise executive management on technical feasibility, engineering risks, technology selection, investment requirements, and product development strategy.
• Drive a strong engineering culture based on technical excellence, accountability, innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.
