Design, develop, and validate aircraft flight control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient flight operations. The role involves system integration, performance analysis, testing, and compliance with aviation standards while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to enhance aircraft stability and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Flight Control and Autopilot systems.
- Define system architecture, logic, and requirements.
- Prepare and review technical documents, specifications, and reports.
- Manage system requirements and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Support installation, integration, and testing of system equipment.
- Set up and maintain test laboratories, tools, and infrastructure.
- Coordinate procurement, calibration, and configuration of system equipment.
- Plan and conduct bench, ground, and flight testing activities.
- Perform verification, validation, and qualification of hardware and software.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful system integration.
- Support project planning and execution throughout the system development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives on time.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.c) in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field
- Experience: Five (5) years of industry experience in the design and implementation of Flight Controls and Autopilot Systems.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in systems engineering, including requirements analysis, system architecture design, integration, testing, and verification
- Familiarity with engineering CAD (CATIA) and requirement management tools (Doors, Enovia)
- Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions
- Standards: Familiarity with aircraft system engineering related standards, including but not limited to, RTCA-DO-160, SAE ARP 4754 and SAE ARP 4761
- Certification: Familiarity with aircraft certification standards, at least Parts 21 and 23
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Outlook)
- Work and communicate effectively in a group/team and interdisciplinary environment
