Job description

Title:

Lead and/or Principal Technical Consultant Role Downstream

KBR Consulting is seeking Lead and/or Principal Technical Consultants to work within our MENA organization. Successful candidates will be key members of the team providing consulting services and contributing to business development activities across the full range of clients in the chemical and petrochemical industries.

Reporting to the MENA management, the Lead and/or Principal Consultant will demonstrate competence in areas including refining and petrochemical process technology, feasibility study development, technical and economic evaluation, project concept development, investment strategy development, as well as technical due diligence and lenders' technical consulting assignments.

As a more experienced individual on our staff, the Lead and/or Principal Consultant will perform tasks such as collecting information, developing deliverables, analyzing trends and key findings, and preparing reports in Word or PowerPoint.

Recognizing their project management responsibilities, the Lead and/or Principal Consultant should possess excellent organizational skills, be effective communicators, and capable of guiding others. They typically manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously, requiring the ability to multitask, work independently, exercise good judgment, and communicate effectively within a broad organizational context.

Additionally, the Lead and/or Principal Consultant supports the group's overall sales efforts through proposal and tender preparation, contract negotiations, and other client interfacing activities.
