Job summary

Dubai Careers - A Smart Dubai Initiative seeks a hands-on architecture-minded developer to lead design, development and deployment of AI-enabled applications and integrated digital solutions. You will work with business and tech stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, reliable systems using LLMs, RAG, OCR, APIs, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience can be considered with 8–12 years in technology/software engineering, including ~3+ years in AI/ML, LLM applications, intelligent automation, or related technologies
Master’s degree in CS/AI or related discipline would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI-enabled applications using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, and evaluation frameworks.
Develop document intelligence solutions using OCR and LLM-based extraction, classification, and validation for permits, contracts, compliance documents, and operation records.
Design and implement API integrations connecting permit databases, CRM, finance/ERP, e-signature, payment gateways, government-facing systems, and other platforms via REST APIs and webhooks.
Build end-to-end automated workflows using n8n, Zapier, Make, Airflow, or Python services with routing, approvals, notifications, and exception handling.
