Job description

Lead the execution of payroll processes to ensure that employees’ salaries, benefits and other payments are disbursed accurately and as per schedule.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the payroll management schedule on a regular basis to ensure payroll processing and payment activities are performed in compliance with defined timeframes.

Lead payroll processing and verify all data entry activities to ensure information related to salaries, benefits, pension, and other payments (e.g., payments to banks, issuance of checks to employees, etc.) are entered and processed on the payroll system in a timely and accurate manner.

Reconcile the monthly payroll run and provide the Section Manager – Accounting with the required reports to ensure compliance with payroll policies and processes, and all measures are taken for seamless payroll processing and safeguard of the pay information confidentiality.

Coordinate with HR Division to verify employee compensation packages and all recruitment information on the system in order to confirm completeness and precision of data in order to run the payroll efficiently.

Coordinate with HR Division in order to receive employees’ end of service notification and perform the final settlement procedures to ensure timely closure of accounts.

Review monthly entries on the system against approved documents, verify information, and correct possible errors to secure accuracy of the payroll process.

Ensure and lead the liaison with employees regarding their payroll issues or complaints to ensure prompt and effective support and resolution.

Check the entered vacations on the system and ensure errors are corrected to avoid erroneous records for provision of leave encashment.

Support internal and external audit, including statutory audits, Internal audits as and when required.

Perform any other duties as requested by the line manager.
