Job Summary:


Based in Dubai, the Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for Pressure Management service operations from its facility in the UAE. The role will lead the workshop team and coordinate all in-house overhaul, parts, and repair activities related to the PRM range of products, including safety valves, regulators, and tank products.


In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:


Service Operations

  • Facilitate valve service center functions, including service operations, facility maintenance, machine shop, and contractor management.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all in-house and field activities.
  • Maintain all materials, equipment, parts, and tools necessary for daily service operations.
  • Plan and execute to achieve monthly service center POR.
  • Lead change management as the business evolves and implement process improvements.
  • Improve company performance towards higher customer service standards and better financial results.
  • Support job costing and prepare quotes for complex, new, or out-of-scope services.
  • Perform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of Pressure Management Products, with strong technical skills in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of pressure relief and regulator products.
  • Collaborate with product engineers, suppliers, third-party inspection agencies, and customers to resolve quality issues.
  • Work with the sales team to identify business growth opportunities and ensure capacity for targeted STOs.
  • Knowledge of international standards such as API 527, API 576, API 2000, ASME Sec XIII, NBIC, etc.
  • Deliver KPIs aligned with BU objectives, including profit and loss accountability, resource utilization, and optimization.

Quality Assurance/Health & Safety

  • Ensure quality control of all work and compliance with safety codes and engineering standards.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to Emerson/Fisher policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Implement safety improvement plans.
  • Manage non-conformance, corrective, and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate internal quality programs, customer surveillance, third-party inspections, and audits.
  • Update employees on changes in work practices.

Employee Relations

  • Manage employee, community, and government relations within the region.
  • Handle staffing, recruitment, and personal development of staff.
  • Provide training and support problem-solving.
  • Ensure focus on quality programs and employee engagement.
  • Document and give feedback on workmanship quality.
  • Guide and develop the Saudi National workforce to meet competency standards.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with 10+ years’ experience in pressure relief valves and regulators industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in business systems such as SAP, Oracle, Outlook.
  • Excellent safety and attendance record.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in process control industry.
  • MEA (especially Saudi Arabia) experience.
