Job summary

JIFCO Recruitment Pvt Ltd is looking for Laundry Staff to clean, dry, press and fold clothes and linens in hotel, hospital or laundry environments. The role requires sorting, operating laundry equipment, and maintaining cleanliness while following safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have basic understanding of fabric care, can lift heavy loads, and maintain attention to detail. The position offers company-provided meals, transport and accommodation per UAE terms.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry or housekeeping work, preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning products.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and stand long hours.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of washing symbols and fabric care.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and guidelines.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and washing instructions.

Job Role: Laundry Staff

Laundry Staff are responsible for cleaning, drying, pressing, and folding clothes and linens in a professional or institutional setting such as a hotel, hospital, or laundry service facility.

Responsibilities:

Sort laundry by color, fabric type, and washing instructions.

Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.

Fold, iron, and steam garments and linens as required.

Inspect items for damage or stains and treat accordingly.

Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment.

Label and organize cleaned laundry for delivery or storage.

Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Follow hygiene and safety standards, especially when handling chemicals.

Track laundry inventory and assist in keeping records.

Requirements:

Experience in laundry or housekeeping work (preferred but not always required).
