Job summary

Accor is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily laundry operations at a hotel venue. You will lead a diverse team, ensure timely processing of guest laundry, linen, and uniforms, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards.

You will monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding, and finishing, train staff on procedures, and coordinate with Housekeeping to meet linen requirements. The role emphasizes quality, efficiency, and brand compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel laundry operations or similar, with supervisory exposure.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, linen handling, and finishing processes.
• Strong leadership and clear communication, able to manage a diverse team.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations and team activities.
• Ensure guest laundry, hotel linen, uniforms, and other items are processed accurately and on time.
• Monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding, and finishing standards.
• Inspect linen and uniforms for cleanliness, stains, damage, and quality.
• Allocate daily duties and monitor team performance and productivity.
• Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of laundry equipment.
• Monitor laundry chemicals, supplies, and linen inventory to minimize wastage.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety, and chemical handling.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely linen and uniform requirements.
• Train and coach team members on laundry procedures and safety.
• Report equipment breakdowns, linen shortages, damages, and operational issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and brand standards.
