Job summary

YOSH is seeking a motivated Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team in Abu Dhabi. You will sort, wash, dry, fold and iron linens, towels, uniforms and guest clothing following established protocols.

The role includes operating commercial laundry equipment, spotting stains, monitoring chemical usage, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting other duties during busy periods. Full training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is desirable but training will be provided.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.

Responsibilities

• Sort wash, dry, fold and iron laundry items according to protocols.
• Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment safely.
• Identify and treat stains or damaged items using appropriate techniques.
• Monitor chemical usage and report shortages or malfunctions promptly.
• Ensure laundered items meet cleanliness standards and are stored properly.
• Assist with the distribution and collection of laundry items from departments.
• Complete daily linen inventories and generate reports for replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area following health and safety guidelines.
• Adopt safe manual handling practices and cover other duties when required.
