InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant / Tailor to join our luxury hospitality team. This role is central to ensuring that all guest and property garments meet the impeccable standards expected from a world-class residence. You will deliver precision tailoring, high-quality laundry services, and exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay is nestled in the heart of Dubai’s bustling business district, providing a sanctuary of tranquility amidst the city’s vibrant landmarks. Your Day-to-Day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Laundry & Garment Care

• Receive, inspect, sort, and process guest and hotel laundry with meticulous attention to detail.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, irons, and steamers safely and efficiently.
• Identify stains, damages, or wear and perform appropriate treatments.
• Ensure garments are returned to guests in pristine condition and on schedule.

Tailoring & Repairs

• Perform minor and major garment alterations, mending, and repairs.
• Maintain a professional tailoring workshop with organized tools, materials, and inventory.
• Assist guests with bespoke tailoring requests and alterations, delivering exceptional service.

Operational Excellence

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in laundry and tailoring areas.
• Adhere strictly to hygiene, safety, and quality standards consistent with IHG luxury brand expectations.
• Support housekeeping and concierge teams with urgent garment requests.

What We Need from You

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a laundry attendant or tailor in luxury hotels or high-end hospitality environments.
• Skilled in professional ironing, steaming, stain removal, sewing, and garment alterations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
• Knowledge of fabric types, garment care techniques, and luxury standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred

• Certificate or diploma in laundry management, tailoring, or garment care.
• Experience in a Forbes Five-Star or luxury hotel setting.
• Strong guest service orientation and communication skills.
