Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is hiring a Laundry Attendant to support the Housekeeping team by ensuring hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, processed, and presented to NH Collection standards. You will handle detergents safely, operate laundry equipment, and ensure timely return of guest items.

Ideal candidates have previous hotel laundry experience, good attention to detail, and basic English.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment, fabrics, detergents, and stain removal.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press, fold, and prepare hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or special cleaning requirements.
• Ensure guest laundry is processed accurately and returned within the required timeframe.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
• Handle detergents and chemicals safely according to health and safety procedures.
• Maintain proper care and handling of linen and uniforms to minimize damage.
• Report equipment faults, damaged linen, or concerns to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, environmental, and brand standards.
• Support the Housekeeping team as required to ensure efficient daily operations.
