Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to support the Housekeeping Department by ensuring hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, processed, and presented to NH Collection standards.

You will operate laundry equipment, inspect items for stains, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining a clean and safe laundry area in a bustling hotel environment on the Palm. This position requires flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment, fabrics, detergents, and stain removal.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press, fold, and prepare hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry machines and equipment safely.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or special cleaning requirements.
• Ensure guest laundry is processed accurately and returned within the required timeframe.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
• Handle detergents and chemicals safely and according to health and safety procedures.
• Maintain proper care and handling of hotel linen and uniforms to minimize damage and wastage.
• Report equipment faults, damaged linen, or other concerns to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, environmental, and brand standards.
• Support the Housekeeping team as required to ensure efficient daily operations.
