Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to support the Housekeeping team by preparing hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry to NH Collection standards.

Key responsibilities include operating laundry machines safely, inspecting items for stains, and ensuring timely processing. Basic English is required, and candidates should be physically fit and flexible with shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment, fabrics, detergents, and stain removal.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press, fold, and prepare hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and according to established procedures.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or special cleaning requirements.
• Ensure guest laundry is processed accurately and returned within the required timeframe.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
• Handle detergents and chemicals safely and according to health and safety procedures.
• Maintain proper care and handling of hotel linen and uniforms to minimize damage and wastage.
• Report equipment faults, damaged linen, or other concerns to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, environmental, and brand standards.
• Support the Housekeeping team as required to ensure efficient daily operations.
