Key duties and responsibilities of a laundry attendant:

• Folding and Ironing: Folding or hanging clean items neatly and efficiently, and ironing or pressing items as needed.

• Stain Removal: Identifying and treating stains using appropriate methods and chemicals.

• Inventory Management: Maintaining an inventory of laundry supplies (detergents, etc.) and restocking as needed.

• Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining laundry machines, including lint traps, and reporting any malfunctions.

• Area Maintenance: Keeping the laundry area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Customer Service: Assisting customers with laundry needs, answering questions, and resolving issues.

• Minor Repairs: Performing minor sewing repairs on damaged items (e.g., replacing buttons).

• Safety Compliance: Following all safety guidelines and protocols.

• Record Keeping: Maintaining records of laundry processed, inventory levels, or machine maintenance.

• Sorting: Separating laundry by color, fabric type, and washing instructions.
