We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Technician with a valid MOH license to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting medical and cosmetic procedures, maintaining lab and clinical equipment, handling patient care tasks, and ensuring adherence to the highest safety and clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Patient Care Support:
- Take and record patients' vital signs; report any abnormalities to the Nurse-in-Charge.
- Assist in medical procedures by preparing the required materials and helping with patient preparation (e.g., applying numbing cream/spray).
- Ensure patient comfort by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Respond promptly and compassionately to patient requests and concerns.
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of patient care and clinical activities.
- Attend care planning meetings and contribute to ongoing patient care discussions.
Laboratory & Technical Duties:
- Collect, label, and analyze samples using appropriate lab equipment and procedures.
- Instruct patients on proper sample collection techniques.
- Record and interpret experimental data in both written and electronic formats.
- Perform laboratory testing following standard procedures; maintain detailed documentation.
- Clean, sterilize, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment regularly.
- Organize and store chemicals, fluids, and medical gases safely and according to protocol.
- Perform quality control checks and equipment calibration as needed.
- Maintain daily logs, laboratory notebooks, and equipment usage records.
- Monitor lab inventory and order supplies as necessary.
- Provide technical support and stay up to date with relevant developments in the field.
Laser Treatment Support (If applicable to clinic services)
- Operate laser equipment in accordance with safety protocols and treatment standards.
- Perform laser treatments under supervision or according to clinic guidelines.
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms before procedures.
- Document procedures and outcomes accurately for each patient.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and follow-up steps.
Requirements
- Valid MOH License as a Laser Technician or equivalent qualification recognized by UAE healthcare authorities.
- Proven experience in clinical and/or cosmetic settings (laser treatment experience preferred).
- Familiarity with laboratory protocols, equipment handling, and patient interaction.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
