Lap Technician

The position is responsible for overseeing Quality Control sampling and analysis using modern laboratory equipment like XRF for Slag (GGBS) / Cement grinding in a Loesche VRM cement plant.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Taking immediate corrective actions after sample analysis and sharing results with CCR/Production teams.
2. Evaluating chemical properties of raw materials such as Clinker, GGBS, Gypsum, etc., used in the LOESCHE VRM grinding process.
3. Ensuring timely reporting of analysis results and deviations from set specifications to relevant personnel for preventive or corrective measures.
4. Conducting periodic audits of sampling and testing procedures to ensure conformity and reliability as per standards.
5. Maintaining records of all chemical and microscopic evaluations according to the plant quality control plan and regulatory standards.
6. Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing quality data, maintaining a laboratory database, and preparing reports as per schedule.
7. Implementing and following the quality manual and ISO 9000 standards.
8. Maintaining laboratory instruments and ensuring their optimal performance.
9. Ensuring sampling, sample preparation, and analysis are conducted within accuracy limits.
10. Setting up the laboratory for Loesche VRM in a greenfield cement plant.
11. Adhering to safety policies and procedures.
