Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate design efforts and resolve site-related issues concerning hard and soft landscaping.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Coordinate landscape design and resolve site-related issues with hard and soft landscaping.
• Lead and manage all landscape planning and design projects, including overseeing other consultants such as engineers, architects, and planners.
• Develop proposals in coordination with client requirements and liaise with designers.
• Review contractor submissions against contract documents and approve shop drawings, material, and technical proposals, ensuring compliance.
• Review prequalification of contractors/subcontractors and recommend accordingly.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work compliance and quality.
• Select plants/trees from external sources and coordinate shipping to site.
• Possess thorough knowledge of regional plant species and their requirements.
• Understand irrigation standards, requirements, and suitable types for different plantations.
• Provide guidance to craft personnel as needed.
• Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.
• Have experience with authority standards, requirements, and specifications.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in landscape architecture design and construction supervision for land/community development projects.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between design and constructability.
• Professional registration may be required; proven leadership ability.
