Role Overview

The Material Architect develops material specifications and standards for projects. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, conducting material testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop material specifications and standards for projects.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure material quality.
  • Conduct material testing and evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Provide technical support to design and construction teams.
  • Review and approve material submittals and samples.
  • Research new materials and technologies.
  • Prepare and present material reports and documentation.
  • Manage material procurement and inventory.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate materials into designs.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
