Job summary

Arada is seeking a Landscape Architect Manager in Sharjah, UAE, to lead planning, design, and execution of landscape projects from concept to site handover.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgets, schedules, and quality. The role requires a strong UAE-regulations background and extensive project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Engineering.
• Proficiency in landscape design software and drafting tools.
• 6–7 years of professional experience in landscape architecture and project management.
• Proven experience on UAE projects with familiarity of municipality regulations and approval processes.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary landscape projects from concept to completion.
• Prior experience in residential, mixed-use, or public realm projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage landscape architecture projects from concept design through construction documentation and site execution.
• Develop sustainable landscape design solutions aligned with project objectives and local authority requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors for seamless project integration.
• Prepare and review landscape master plans, planting plans, hardscape details, irrigation layouts, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Municipality regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.
• Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure design intent and quality.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
• Support business development activities, proposals, and client relationship management when required.
• Ensure designs align with Arada’s project vision.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost evaluations.
• Review value engineering proposals while maintaining design intent and quality.
• Monitor landscape scope changes and assess cost implications.
• Manage and coordinate design interfaces between landscape and infrastructure elements.
• Resolve design conflicts and provide technical solutions during project development.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, material submissions, and shop drawings.
• Evaluate planting strategies, irrigation systems, hardscape materials, lighting, and site furnishings.
• Review mock-ups and material samples.

Role Purpose

What You'll Bring

Skill, Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Engineering.
• Proficiency in landscape design software and drafting tools.
• Minimum 6–7 years of professional experience in landscape architecture and project management.
• Proven experience working on projects in UAE with strong familiarity of municipality regulations and approval processes.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary landscape projects from concept to completion.
• Prior experience in residential, mixed-use, or public realm projects is preferred.
