Job summary

Arada is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect Manager in the UAE to lead landscape design from concept to site execution. You will coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to deliver sustainable, regulation-compliant projects for residential, mixed-use and public realm environments.

You will manage budgets, timelines and quality while supporting client meetings and business development activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Engineering.
• Minimum 6–7 years of professional experience in landscape architecture and project management.
• Experience on UAE projects with familiarity of municipality regulations and approval processes.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary landscape projects from concept to completion.
• Residential, mixed-use, or public realm projects preferred.

• Lead landscape architecture projects from concept design through construction documentation and site execution.
• Develop innovative, sustainable landscape design solutions aligned with project objectives and authorities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants and contractors for seamless integration.
• Prepare and review landscape master plans, planting plans, hardscape details and irrigation layouts.
• Ensure compliance with municipality regulations and environmental standards.
• Manage schedules, resources, budgets and deliverables to meet timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to maintain design intent and quality.
• Support client meetings, presentations and design reviews.
• Assist in business development, proposals and client relationship management where required.

Role Purpose

The Landscape Architect Manager is responsible for leading the planning, design, coordination, and execution of landscape architecture projects. The role ensures that all landscape designs align with regulatory standards, sustainability goals, and project timelines while maintaining high-quality design and technical delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage landscape architecture projects from concept design through construction documentation and site execution.
• Develop innovative and sustainable landscape design solutions in line with project objectives and local authority requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project integration.
• Prepare and review landscape master plans, planting plans, hardscape details, irrigation layouts, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Municipality regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.
• Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
• Support business development activities, proposal preparation, and client relationship management when required.
• Ensure designs align with Arada’s project vision.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost evaluations.
• Review value engineering proposals while maintaining design intent and quality.
• Monitor landscape scope changes and assess cost implications.
• Manage and coordinate design interfaces between landscape and infrastructure elements.
• Resolve design conflicts and provide technical solutions during project development.
• Review design drawings, specifications, BOQs, material submissions, and shop drawings.
• Evaluate planting strategies, irrigation systems, hardscape materials, lighting, and site furnishings.
• Review mock‑ups, material samples, and site installations.
• Support project closeout, snagging, and handover activities.

Skill, Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Engineering.
• Proficiency in landscape design software and drafting tools.
• Minimum 6–7 years of professional experience in landscape architecture and project management.
• Proven experience working on projects in UAE with strong familiarity of municipality regulations and approval processes.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary landscape projects from concept to completion.
• Prior experience in residential, mixed‑use, or public realm projects is preferred.
