Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Landscape Architect to join our growing design team. This role is ideal for someone with strong design sensibilities, technical skills, and the drive to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget for the project. Discuss the purpose of the outdoor space, intended users, and any specific requirements or constraints.
- Carry out the preparation of architectural and landscape design concepts (2D & 3D).
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D landscape designs using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Produce sketches, technical drawings, visualizations, and presentation material.
- Collaborate with team members on project development and coordination.
- Conduct research on materials, products, codes, and authority regulations.
- Ensure all designs comply with safety standards and government regulations.
- Good background in all landscape services (planting, irrigation, lighting, water feature and hardscape).
- Support in promoting the company’s services through design content and client interactions.
- Preparing and pricing installation proposals with accuracy and efficiency.
- Work with GIS and Google Maps for site analysis and design integration.
- Conduct thorough site analysis to assess existing conditions such as topography, soil quality, drainage patterns, vegetation, climate, and surrounding structures. Identify opportunities and constraints that will inform the design process.
- Good background in construction details and understanding of execution processes, with awareness of quality standards and workflow.
- Support marketing and business development teams with design content as needed.
- Attend on-site client meetings and provide design support during project execution.
- Organize and maintain all design documentation and project files.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture.
- 2 to 5 years of design-related experience
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Lumion, Photoshop and MS Office.
- Good background in landscape construction processes and technical site requirements.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good knowledge of GIS tools and ability to use Google Maps for site planning.
- Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented.
- UAE driving license
- Must be residing in Ras Al Kamiah or willing to relocate
