Want More in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Land Surveyor to support mapping and engineering projects. You will measure distances and angles with total stations and GPS, and collect data from field observations and maps to deliver accurate survey results.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field, familiarity with GIS software, and strong communication skills to prepare client reports and collaborate with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related field.
• Experience in land surveying preferred but not required.
• Proficient with total stations, GPS receivers, GIS software, and office software.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Utilize surveying instruments such as total stations to measure distances and angles of land areas for mapping and engineering purposes.
• Gather data from field observations and measurements as well as from aerial photographs, satellite images, maps and other sources.
• Analyze topographical data to identify land features such as contour lines, elevations and other details.
• Create maps using GIS software in order to accurately convey the shape, elevation or location of features on the land surface.
• Prepare reports summarizing survey results for clients.
• Participate in legal description writing activities for boundary surveys used in real estate transactions or construction projects.
• Operate GPS receivers to measure distances between points on the earth's surface.
