Job summary

Jing Hau in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Land Surveyor to perform field surveys, measure land boundaries, and provide technical input for construction projects in the UAE.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 2 years in land surveying, strong map-reading and math skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with GPS and total stations is preferred, along with good communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying or related field preferred but not required.
• At least 2 years of land surveying experience.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding boundary lines.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret maps accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys to determine precise locations and measurements of land boundaries, features, and topography for construction projects.
• Utilize GPS, transit, levels, theodolites and GPS receivers to measure angles and distances.
• Analyze survey data and prepare maps or reports with calculations.
• Record data and update deeds or property records as needed.
• Provide technical advice on surveying-related matters such as construction layout and boundary disputes.
