Job Description

• Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other features.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, including measurements, calculations, and diagrams.
• Use surveying instruments and equipment, such as total stations and GPS receivers, to collect data.
• Research land records, maps, and legal documents to obtain information about property boundaries and ownership.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage and maintain surveying equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide updates.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of survey data.
• Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and advancements in surveying technology.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and practices while conducting surveys and working in outdoor environments.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field.
• Professional licensure or certification as a land surveyor.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Proficiency in using surveying software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and clients.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor environments for extended periods.
