Job description

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Land Surveyor to join our Engineering Team in a Newly awarded construction Project in Ras Al Khaimah.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review contract/shop drawings and make sure its revision & approval and understand its detail.
  • Assist the technical department for all the necessary detail requirements in preparation of shop drawing.
  • Ensure that, original ground levels / existing condition survey has been carried out and recorded as necessary prior to carrying out the excavation work. Requirement of these surveys will be advices by the project manager / technical manager.
  • Maintain all survey equipment with valid calibration certificates at all times and in good working condition. Maintain and update the survey instrument List and calibration records monthly.
  • Check with technical department for any shop drawing clarifications or any additional information.
  • Oversee the establishment of Survey control stations. Check the survey control points to maintain in good working conditions.
  • Establish good working relationship with the consultant and client staffs at the site.
  • Coordinating with all other departments or subcontractors for their assistance.
  • Checking the shop drawings and preparing the detail as per site requirements.
  • Ensure the system is in place to coordinate and conduct survey checks with the Consultant’s Surveyor / Inspectors etc. for works as per the RFA’s approval / Rejection of site work.
  • Maintain and review the records related to RFA’s approval/Rejection of site works.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil/Survey Engineering
  • 5+ Years of relevant work experience in Building Projects
