Land Surveyor

Location:

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Review contract shop drawings, ensure revision approval, and understand detailed requirements.
  2. Assist the technical department with necessary details for shop drawing preparation.
  3. Ensure that original ground levels and existing condition surveys are carried out and recorded prior to excavation, as advised by the project or technical manager.
  4. Maintain all survey equipment with valid calibration certificates, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  5. Maintain and update the survey instrument list and calibration records monthly.
  6. Coordinate with the technical department for shop drawing clarifications or additional information.
  7. Oversee the establishment of survey control stations and maintain control points in good condition.
  8. Establish good working relationships with consultants and client staff on-site.
  9. Coordinate with other departments or subcontractors for survey assistance.
  10. Review shop drawings and prepare details as per site requirements.
  11. Implement systems to coordinate and conduct survey checks with consultants, surveyors, inspectors, etc., for works as per RFAs approval.
  12. Inspect and reject site work if necessary, and maintain related records regarding RFAs approval and site work rejection.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Survey Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in building projects.
