Star Services LLC is a leading provider of engineering and technical services to the oil and gas industry in the United Arab Emirates. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Land Surveyor will conduct surveys to determine and document the precise location and measurements of land features, boundaries, and structures, and will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of surveying tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys using a variety of surveying equipment and techniques including GPS, total stations, and levels
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey records including field notes, sketches, and digital data
• Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports and maps
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine survey needs and provide technical support
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Train and supervise junior surveyors and survey technicians
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Identify and resolve any surveying issues or discrepancies that may arise during a project
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address concerns or questions

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field
