Job summary

A leading company in the UAE seeks a skilled surveyor to perform land surveys, ensure project requirements are met, and assist in preparing as-built drawings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure projects and must possess necessary RTA or Dubai Municipality approvals. Strong communication skills and proficiency in CAD software are essential for coordinating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in road works, bridges or infrastructure projects.
• Prior RTA or Dubai Municipality Survey approval is required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
• Check setting-out and levels; ensure protection of services locations.
• Assist in the preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings.

Job description

Perform land / field surveys and geodetic calculations.

Good command on using Autocad / Microstation. Coversant with use of advanced survey equipment

Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.

Complete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.

Check setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection.

Prepare sketches to support the field work. Maintain all the survey information (field books, sketches and calculations).

Measure work done when required.

Observe site safety procedures.

Assist in the preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings.

Requirements

Diploma or associate degree in Engineering or surveying

Minimum 7 years of experience in road works, bridges or infrastructure projects.

Knowledge and / or experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment.

Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry.

Good communication skills for coordinating with contractors, inspectors, and engineers.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations on construction sites.
