Job Description

• Conduct land surveys to establish reference points, boundaries, and contours for construction projects.
• Manage and oversee surveying on road infrastructure projects, ensuring high accuracy and compliance.
• Use modern surveying equipment and software to collect and analyze data.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance in all surveying tasks.
• Provide mentorship to junior surveying staff.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Track and report project progress to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or Land Surveying.
• Certified Land Surveyor – Municipality-approved (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DMT, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in land surveying, preferably with at least 2–3 years in the UAE/GCC region.
• Strong background in construction layout, topographic surveys, setting out for roads, infrastructure, and building projects.
• Familiar with UAE land regulations, municipality submission procedures.
• Valid UAE driving license is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in operating surveying equipment such as Total Station (Leica, Trimble, Topcon), GPS/GNSS, Auto Levels, and Digital Theodolites.
• Competent in using software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Geo Office, Trimble Business Center, and GIS tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and legal land documents.

Knowledge

• Sound understanding of UAE infrastructure standards, construction procedures, and land development codes.
• Experience with as-built surveys, boundary demarcation, plot demarcation, leveling, and stake-out activities.
• Awareness of health and safety practices on construction sites in the UAE.

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
• Strong attention to detail.
