Job summary

Rixos Bab Al Bahr, part of the Ennismore portfolio, invites applications for an Activities Animator to lead varied programs for adults in a luxury resort setting. You will support setup, run engaging activities, supervise guests, and contribute ideas for future programs.

Ideal candidates are energetic, with at least 1 year in fast-paced recreational environments, and hold Standard First Aid with CPR. Russian language is an asset.

Qualifications

• Current Standard First Aid with CPR.
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in a high-volume, fast-paced recreational environment with adults.
• Positive, outgoing and professional attitude.
• Strong communication skills; additional language (Russian) is a plus.
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and good team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and present activities independently or with other Resort Activities Animators.
• Assist in set-up for all facilitated activities and complete duties before, during and after facilities open/activities end.
• Interact with and supervise adults in activities programs ensuring a safe environment for all ages.
• Contribute new activity ideas and assist in future development of Resort Activities and other programs.
• Carry out other tasks as assigned by Entertainment Manager or Executive Team.

Job Description

Facilitate and present small and large scale activities independently or with other Resort Activities Animators, as needed in anadult environment

Assist in the set-up for all facilitated activities and execute duties related to the activities and completion of programsbefore, during, and after the facilities open / activity ends.

Interact with and supervise all adults participating in activities programs by providing a safe environment for all ages to enjoy themselves

Contribute new activity ideas and assist in the future development of Resort Activities, as well as other programs

Carry out all other tasks as assigned by the Entertainment Manager or Executive Team

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Current Standard First Aid with CPR

Minimum 1 year recent experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced recreationalenvironment with adults.

Positive, outgoing and professional attitude.

Strong communication skills, additional foreign language is an asset (Russian).

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible and good Team Spirit.

Previous experience facilitating / hosting many types of games, crafts, activities, interactive programming, etc.

Must be physically fit and able to run all activities in any weather including walking,playing sports and water sports.
