Job summary

Rixos Bab Al Bahr is seeking a Resort Activities Animator to lead and assist in hosting a variety of activities for adults at our luxury Ras Al Khaimah resort. The role requires delivering engaging programs and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for guests.

Ideal candidates are physically fit with strong communication skills, able to work under pressure, and willing to contribute new ideas to enhance guest experiences. Fluency in additional languages, such as Russian, is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to run all activities in any weather including walking, playing sports and water sports.
• Strong communication skills; Russian language is an asset.
• Flexible and good Team Spirit.
• Positive, outgoing and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and present activities independently or with other resort activities animators, as needed in an adult environment
• Assist in the set-up for all facilitated activities and execute duties related to the activities and completion of programs before, during, and after the facilities open / activity ends.
• Interact with and supervise all adults participating in activities programs by providing a safe environment for all ages to enjoy themselves
• Contribute new activity ideas and assist in the future development of Resort Activities, as well as other programs
• Carry out all other tasks as assigned by the Entertainment Manager or Executive Team
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum 1 year recent experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced recreational environment with adults.

• Strong communication skills, additional foreign language is an asset (Russian).
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and good Team Spirit.
• Previous experience facilitating / hosting many types of games, crafts, activities, interactive programming, etc.
• Must be physically fit and able to run all activities in any weather including walking, playing sports and water sports.
