Job summary

Star Services LLC is seeking an on-site civil/electrical/mechanical laborer in Al Ain, UAE. The role involves assisting Signalling Technicians with trackside equipment, trenching, digging, and preparing pathways for cables.

You will pull cables, lay them in trays, and help place precast foundations under supervision. Applicants should have 1–2 years of relevant experience, be able to work six days a week in hot desert weather, and hold a valid UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a civil, electrical, or mechanical laborer.
• Experience working in harsh outdoor/desert weather conditions.
• English language sufficient to understand work instructions and safety alerts.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Signalling Technicians in handling, moving, and positioning trackside equipment.
• Perform manual site preparation works, including trenching, digging, and clearing pathways for cable ducts and foundations.
• Execute cable pulling, laying inside trays/ducts, and routing activities under technical supervision.
• Assist in placing precast concrete foundations for trackside equipment.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from vehicles and ensure the site is kept clean and tidy.
• Strictly follow all site safety rules, railway Track Access protocols, and wear mandatory PPE.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting Signalling Technicians in handling, moving, and positioning trackside

equipment (marker boards, junction boxes, axle counters, balises).

Performing manual site preparation works, including trenching, digging, and clearing

pathways for cable ducts and foundations.

Executing cable pulling, laying inside trays/ducts, and routing activities under technical

supervision.

Assisting in placing precast concrete foundations for trackside equipment.

Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment from vehicles and ensuring the

site workplace is kept clean and tidy.

Strictly following all site safety rules, railway Track Access protocols, and wearing

mandatory PPE at all times.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a civil, electrical, or mechanical laborer

Experience working in harsh outdoor/desert weather conditions.

Skills & Competencies

High physical fitness and stamina to perform heavy manual labor (lifting, bending,

digging) in high-temperature environments.

Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and safety signs.

Ability to work cooperatively within a multi-national site team.

Strong commitment to workplace safety rules.

Employment Requirements

Available for immediate joining.

Willing to work full-time at site in Al Ain with 6 working days per week.

Valid UAE driving license.
