Job summary

American Hospital in Dubai seeks an experienced Labour and Delivery nurse to provide age-specific patient care across scheduled shifts. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care while coordinating with families and a multidisciplinary team to meet JCIA standards.

Requirements include nursing or midwifery degree, relevant license, and a minimum of two years post-graduate experience in Labour and Delivery. BLS certification and ongoing education are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or midwifery with required clinical training.
• Valid nursing license/registration to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or as per scope of practice.
• Minimum two years post-graduate experience in Labour and Delivery.
• UAE nationals: local training exemptions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, patient-centered nursing care in Labour and Delivery.
• Perform nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Document all data accurately in medical records.
• Maintain unit competencies and provide ongoing CQI participation.
