Job summary

Dr Scent seeks a talented Perfumer to join our Head Office, driving R&D innovation and overseeing lab operations to support our growing global presence. You will create and refine fragrance formulations, manage lab activities, and collaborate with suppliers and clients on bespoke projects.

Requirements include a chemistry or perfumery degree, proven perfumery experience, strong olfactory talent, and fluency in Arabic and English; frequent domestic and international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or perfumery; laboratory experience preferred.
• Proven track record as a perfumer with lab and operations experience.
• Strong olfactory skills and creative fragrance formulation ability.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

• Research and implement emerging scent technologies (e.g., Encapsulation, ActiMoods).
• Engage directly with key suppliers and clients on bespoke fragrance projects.
• Lead new product launches and deliver technical training to sales teams and international agents.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Perfumery, or a related field.
• Proven track record as a Perfumer with lab/operations experience.
• Highly developed olfactory sense and creative formulation talent.
• Strong organizational skills and technical expertise in aroma compounds.
• Fluency in both Arabic & English is mandatory (spoken & written).
• Flexibility for frequent domestic & international travel.
