Job summary

Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking a Lab Instructor in Computer Information Science to maintain laboratories and workshops, supporting both faculty and students. This role includes installation and troubleshooting of equipment, along with teaching assistance in laboratory sessions.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least three years of hands-on experience. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of Arabic is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in hardware and software support.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
• Previous teaching assistant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely lab support to faculty, staff, and students.
• Maintains a schedule of preventative maintenance for lab equipment.
• Interacts with suppliers regarding new equipment purchases.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of teaching materials.

Skills

Hands-on experience in hardware and software support

Education
