Job summary

Higher Colleges of Technology is seeking an Engineering Instructor to deliver lectures and assessments for Diploma level courses and to maintain laboratories and workshops. The role combines instruction with hands-on lab work, including setting up experiments and maintaining equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree, strong English proficiency, and be comfortable integrating educational technology. Arabic skills are a plus, and there is travel to other HCT colleges as required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required as minimum.
• English proficiency essential; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Advanced computer literacy required to integrate technology in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and assessments to Diploma level courses in addition to lab duties.
• Develop and utilize educational technology resources to ensure effective instruction.
• Assist in development of labs, operational condition and maintenance of teaching equipment.
• Support faculty and students in using machines, tools and equipment within the laboratory.
• Travel to other HCT colleges to attend meetings, workshops and conferences as required.
• Coordinate with other Engineering Programs and assist in projects and teaching activities.
