Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics and AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant lab or technical experience; strong fresh graduates with a Master’s degree may be considered.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety standards.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and students.
• Willingness to learn new laboratory tools, equipment, and technologies.

Job description

Support the effective, safe, and high-quality operation of teaching and research laboratories within Khalifa University’s Department of Computer and Information Engineering.

About the Role

The Lab Engineer will work closely with faculty to provide technical and operational support for laboratories in areas such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and related computer and information engineering disciplines. The role supports laboratory teaching, student projects, equipment readiness, and continuous improvement of lab procedures.
