Job summary

Element Materials Technology in Dubai seeks an Admin Assistant to join the Laboratory Team. The role involves high-volume input of soil, concrete and aggregate test data, working with ASTM, BS EN and ISO standards.

You will transcribe data, calculate compressive strength, and assist in preparing formal reports for durability and soil mechanics tests. Candidates should have extensive data entry experience in civil engineering labs, strong English, and proficiency with Excel and LIMS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of data entry experience in civil engineering laboratory or Construction QC environment.
• Basic understanding of concrete and soil testing.
• High typing speed with near-zero error rate (45 WPM).
• Proficiency in Excel, LIMS and Word for data entry and reporting.
• Good English communication to transcribe technical remarks.

Responsibilities

• Data Transcription: accurately enter raw data from field sheets into LIMS or Excel templates.
• Input strength results (kN) for concrete samples and calculate Compressive Strength (MPa).
• Prepare formal test reports for durability and soil mechanics tests.
• Verify Sample IDs, dates and project codes match the official laboratory register.
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing system for audits.
