Job summary

AlFuttaim in Dubai is seeking a Laboratory and Materials Testing Supervisor to support the QA Manager by overseeing laboratory operations and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality objectives. This role is crucial for the success of our construction projects.

The ideal candidate should possess a BSc or Diploma in Science, along with a proven track record in materials testing and laboratory supervision. Strong planning, organization skills, and knowledge of international testing standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of formal study in a relevant field.
• Solid understanding of construction materials and laboratory testing methods.
• Working knowledge of BS, ASTM, and international testing standards.
• Proven experience in construction materials testing and laboratory supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support the QA Manager in achieving departmental quality objectives.
• Implement and maintain laboratory management procedures.
• Identify project-specific testing requirements and prepare testing schedules.
• Coordinate with operations teams on testing frequency and site requirements.
• Prepare test specimens and ensure integrity and traceability prior to testing.
• Select and coordinate with approved external laboratories when required.
