Detailed Job Description:

As an L3 RedHat Administrator at Consult STM, you will take full executive ownership of high‑availability Linux production environments supporting business‑critical enterprise applications in Dubai. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include performing deep OS‑level troubleshooting across performance bottlenecks, CPU/memory utilization, filesystems, storage, networking, and kernel anomalies. You will administer Red Hat OpenShift clusters, manage node configurations, pods, deployments, services/routes, persistent volumes (PV/PVC), operators, and RBAC policies. Furthermore, you will handle critical production incidents, lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), execute 24×7 on‑call support rotations, and enforce strict adherence to enterprise change control and security compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert L3 production support and systems administration for business‑critical Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Administer, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes container orchestration clusters.
• Perform deep OS‑level troubleshooting across performance, CPU/memory bottlenecks, filesystems, storage, and TCP/IP networking.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 to 8+ years of hands‑on professional experience in Linux System Administration and L3 Production Support, primarily with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Minimum of 3+ years of hands‑on production experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes cluster administration and troubleshooting.
• Deep operational expertise in advanced Linux troubleshooting (performance, memory, storage, filesystems, networking, and OS‑level issues).
• Proven hands‑on delivery ownership using Red Hat Satellite for patching and Ansible for automation.
• Comprehensive understanding of OpenShift architecture (nodes, pods, deployments, routes, PV/PVC, operators, and oc/kubectl CLI).
• Proven track record supporting business‑critical production environments, handling critical incidents, and participating in 24×7 on‑call support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Mandatory availability for immediate joining or a short notice period.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills:

• Professional certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA).
• Advanced experience with enterprise storage arrays, SAN/NAS integrations, and container storage interfaces (CSI).
• Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines, GitOps tools (ArgoCD), and monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Prior working experience within financial services, telecommunications, or major IT consultancy environments in the GCC.
• Strong technical writing portfolio for RCA reports, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
