Job summary

IFX Ltd in Dubai is seeking a KYC Onboarding Associate (Funds) to support onboarding for UAE clients and fund structures, coordinating with our UK group. The role demands diligence, strong KYC/AML capabilities, and collaboration across UAE and UK teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

A proactive, detail-oriented professional will thrive, with responsibilities spanning CDD/EDD checks, documentation verification, and liaison activities to ensure regulatory compliance and live accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience with KYC/KYB onboarding in financial services.
• Knowledge of UAE AML/CFT framework is advantageous.
• Experience onboarding funds and fund structures (GPs, SPVs) in a DFSA/FSRA-regulated firm.
• Willingness to pursue AML/compliance qualifications is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review KYC/KYB documents for UAE clients onboarded by UK group, focusing on funds.
• Conduct end-to-end onboarding of DIFC clients with focus on funds.
• Liaise between client, DIFC Sales, and UK Onboarding until live.
• Perform CDD/EDD checks per AML/KYC regulations.
• Identify and verify ultimate beneficial owners and controllers across fund structures.
• Ensure onboarding adheres to regulatory standards.
• Review documentation for internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Elevate high-risk cases to CO/MLRO.
• Serve as first contact for KYC queries and collect required documentation.
• Maintain accurate onboarding records.
• Assist CO/MLRO with audits and process improvements.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
