Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking experts in KYC and onboarding to manage client approvals and periodic reviews in a regulated environment. The role emphasizes adherence to AML/CFT standards and regulatory guidelines.

You will collaborate with Coverage Bankers, KYC Operations, Compliance, and Offshore Support to ensure timely onboarding and ongoing client due diligence across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in management, banking, finance.
• Preferably with certification in compliance, KYC/AML/CFT, financial crime or risk management (will be added advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable international bank.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within an On-boarding, KYC or Compliance function.
• Relevant experience with AML/KYC/compliance related knowledge of financial institutions KYC requirements.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines, client structure and hierarchies, funds, brokers, loan agencies & correspondent banks.

Responsibilities

• Manage approval process for New to Bank Client Onboarding and Periodic/Trigger Reviews with stakeholders.
• Review account opening forms / MT 199/299 swift messages for new business.
• Engage with Coverage Bankers on business cases and client selection process.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
