In this role, you will plan, monitor, and manage projects from initiation through completion to accomplish the project objectives.
Your Tasks
- Optimize processing equipment (R&D).
- Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
- Ensure sub-contractors assemble plants according to design specifications.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Strategic planning in cooperation with the project team (Krones AG – PM, Technical department, etc.).
- Select suppliers.
- Purchase components (single parts), units, machines, and services in the national, regional, and global markets.
- Liaise with the finance department to process payments to suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders – client, design, plant engineering, fabrication, electrical and instrumentation & automation, QC, etc.
- Estimate BOM in detail, finalize requirements, indent materials, discuss, negotiate with procurement, and follow up on material procurement.
- Mobilize the site, coordinate with the site team, and guide the execution team.
- Initiate, plan, and implement cost-saving projects.
- Support tasks including: a) Mass balance, process time schedules, utility histograms for capacity optimization; b) Prepare basic process descriptions, technical specifications, process flow diagrams, instrumentation drawings, equipment layouts; c) Post-order process and instrumentation diagrams, CIP & utility distribution for detailed engineering.
- Manage project planning, from scheduling to resource requirements.
- Prepare process descriptions for food and beverage plants.
- Allocate resources and direct the team effectively.
- Ensure project delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Handle complaints, defect notifications, claim management, and detailed engineering tasks such as preparing P&ID, equipment layouts, GA drawings, PFDs, piping and support drawings, cable tray layouts, etc.
- Monitor and control site activities including erection, installation, piping, equipment integration, water trials, testing, commissioning, product trials, and commercial production through frequent site visits.
- Track project progress and financials, including invoicing, fund flow, cash recovery, EPCG documentation, and record keeping.
- Maintain full cost control over local purchasing activities and support project controlling.
Your Profile
- Degree in engineering, project management, or equivalent; PMP certification preferred.
- Proven 5 to 7 years of experience in Project Management and Engineering.
- Excellent client-facing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- AutoCAD knowledge for preparing P&IDs and layouts.
