Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Setup:
• Install and configure a variety of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and ventilation systems.
• Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and meets safety standards.
• Maintenance and Inspection:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures to avoid downtime.
• Repair and Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in kitchen appliances and systems.
• Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to resolve issues efficiently.
• Refrigeration Technicians normally repair, install and troubleshoot refrigeration systems. They can work on industrial or residential climate-control systems, such as visiting and surveying the premises
• producing an estimate for the cost of constructing and installing the refrigeration system
• planning the layout of pipes and controls
• installing the system
• diagnosing and fixing faults if equipment does not work properly
• when installation is complete, carrying out quality inspection and testing of the system
• doing regular service checks of the system
• providing functional and technical information to client
• Preventive maintenance of the equipment
