Job summary

Aloft Hotels in Abu Dhabi seeks a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring quality presentation and portions. You will coordinate tasks, monitor production, and support the F&B team with staffing and training in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of related work experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Education: Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cooks and workers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Determine how food should be presented and create decorative displays.
• Ensure proper portions, arrangement and garnishes for service.
• Monitor quantity of food prepared and stock of kitchen supplies.
• Inform service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; assist with substitutions.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees.
