Job summary

Sofitel Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a detail-oriented Steward to maintain cleanliness and organization across kitchen and dining areas in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will ensure safe workflows, support waste management and help prepare dining spaces for service.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, reliability, and a basic understanding of UAE food safety standards. The role requires teamwork and may include weekends and evenings to support peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils and equipment per safety standards.
• Clean kitchen facilities, dining areas, pantries, and related zones.
• Sort and dispose waste per protocols and environmental guidelines.
• Apply UAE food safety regulations and standards.
• Organize and store kitchen materials and equipment.
• Set up and break down dining areas.
• Support water and energy conservation efforts.
• Contribute to departmental goals and align with guidelines.
• Participate in mandatory training and development programs.
• Collaborate across departments for operations and events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
