Job description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join the team. The Kitchen Helper will play a vital role in supporting the chefs and kitchen staff by maintaining hygiene standards, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring the kitchen and work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks (washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients)
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen including floors, walls, work surfaces, equipment, and utensils
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies following food safety guidelines
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment
• Follow all hygiene and sanitation guidelines as per company and health department standards
• Remove garbage and recycling materials, keeping disposal areas clean
• Help with receiving and storing kitchen deliveries
• Support chefs and cooks in daily kitchen operations as required
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor
